Nº 01 — The landscape
001 / 002
On-set wellness is moving fast. Drinks are lagging behind.
North American productions now budget for on-set therapists, intimacy coordinators, wellness consultants. The duty of care conversation has expanded to every department, and the craft service table is no exception.
The drink table on most sets looks the same as it did years ago. Energy drinks, colas, maybe a sparkling water. Talent and crew who spend their own money on premium non-alc products at home show up to a table that feels like a gas station.
This matters more than most producers realize. Talent notices. The AD who is 18 months sober notices. The showrunner who quit drinking during the pandemic notices. It is a small signal that says the production cares about the people making it.
The studios that are leading on this are already asking for it. Netflix, Apple, Amazon — their wellness riders are getting specific. A curated non-alc program is not a trend. It is becoming a production standard.
Nº 02 — Working with your caterer
002 / 002
Vendor-agnostic. We plug into your existing setup.
We do not replace your caterer or your craft service team. We work alongside them. We provide the product knowledge, the sourcing, and the rotation schedule. They provide the table, the coolers, and the daily setup.
Most caterers are happy to have help here. Non-alc is the fastest-moving category in beverages and keeping up with new brands is not their job. We handle the research and the vendor relationships. They handle the logistics they already know.
For productions using a dedicated craft service company, we provide a sourcing list. They order through their existing channels. We consult on selection and rotation.
For productions managing craft service in-house, we can handle delivery directly to your production office or base camp. Quantities scaled to your daily crew count.
Either way, the production coordinator gets a single contact and a simple system. No new vendors to onboard. No new invoicing headaches.

FAQ
How much does a production beverage program cost?
Beverage program design is $2,500 per production. This covers beverage selection, caterer coordination, and a crew walkthrough. Product is billed separately at best available pricing. Multi-show retainers for production companies running 3+ shows per year start at $3,000 and include priority sourcing and dedicated account management.
Can you deliver to locations outside Vancouver?
Yes. We cover British Columbia productions. For shoots outside Vancouver Island or Metro Vancouver, we can arrange delivery with additional lead time.
We shoot for 60 days. Will the selection get stale?
No. We build rotation into every program. The core lineup stays consistent so crew favourites are always available, but we rotate 2-3 SKUs every two weeks so there is always something new on the table. A 60-day shoot gets at least 6 different new options across the run.
How does this work with union craft service requirements?
We work within existing IATSE and DGC craft service frameworks. Non-alc beverages are an addition to — not a replacement for — standard craft provisions. Your craft service team or caterer maintains all their existing responsibilities. We are a product supplier and consultant, not a replacement for any union position.
Can talent request specific brands?
Yes. If there's a specific brand preference, we can accommodate it. Additional lead time to secure products is appreciated, but rider requests are part of the service.
