Program design starts at $1,500 for a single event and $2,500-$5,000 for an ongoing workplace or venue program. Ongoing retainers for support range from $500+ monthly, cancel anytime, depending on complexity. Product costs are billed separately at best available pricing. These programs typically pay for themselves through recovered revenue, recruiting and retention signals, and a more thoughtful guest experience.
Do you sell beverages directly?
Ratio is focused as a consultancy, not a typical distributor. We design programs and curate brands. Product sourcing runs through incredible, trusted partners. This keeps us brand agnostic. We recommend what's best for your space, not what we need to move off a shelf.
What brands do you work with?
We're brand agnostic and curate from the full non-alc category. Some of our current favourites are Hiyo, Ghia, In Good Company, De Soi, Recess, Aplós, Athletic Brewing, Kin Euphorics, Lyre's, Monday, Free AF, Wilfred's, Three Spirit, Ritual Zero Proof, and dozens more. The selection depends on your space, your budget, and your audience.
How long does the process take?
We work within your timelines. Typically, from discovery call to guests experiencing non-alc beverages at your venue or workplace, it can take 2 to 6 weeks depending on the needs. Discovery calls are 30 minutes, and you have a proposal within 48 hours. Curation, implementation, and staff training are scheduled around your timeline. Rush timelines are possible for events with a fixed date.
What areas do you serve?
We're based on the west coast of Canada, currently serving British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest of the United States. We are geography agnostic and can work with anyone, anywhere.
Can you work with our existing vendors?
Yes. If you have an existing office pantry service, caterer, or F&B distributor, we design the non-alc program to plug into their operations, or we set up a dedicated channel through our partners. The curation is ours; the logistics can be anyone's.
What if our team or guests don't like the selection?
We track what moves, what sits, and what people ask for. The programs are designed to be successful given the information you've shared with us. Periodic check-ins are designed for ongoing support. As your program evolves, it becomes driven by data.
Is this the same as hiring a mocktail bartender?
No. A mocktail bartender makes drinks at an event. Ratio designs the ongoing program: which products to stock, when to serve them, training staff to speak to the products, and setting things up so the program sustains itself. We help you architect, not bartend.
